The 4th New Year Symposium was organized by Japan Morocco Association.

Mr. Matsumoto, Chairman of Sumitomo Electric Industries gave the keynote speech, introducing how they developed their business in Morocco, referring to the high quality workforce available in the country.

Opening remarks was made by Mrs. Hirose, Chairperson of Japan Morocco Association, and Mr. Kashiwabara, Director of FirstMiddle East Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs delivered remarks as a guest. He mentioned about frequent visits by the top officials between Japan and Morocco.

Ambassador Bouhlal gave a presentation on Morocco, and a panel discussion followed with Mr. Kolo, Deputy Head of Mission of Nigeria, and with Mrs. Hirose as MC.
