Mr. Moulay Hafid Elalamy, Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment & Digital Economy, visited Japan from June 10th thru 14th, together with Mr. Othman El Ferdaous, Secretary of State to the Minister of Industry, Investment, Trade and the Digital Economy, in charge of investment. They met with about 20 companies in Osaka and Tokyo to discuss on investment in Morocco. On the 13th, the Ministers met with Minister Hiroshige Seko, to discuss on bilateral cooperation. Automotive industry is rapidly growing in Morocco, and in the interviw by Nikkei, Minsiter Elalamy said “Morocco is targeting to produce 1mil. cars by 2021.”
